Who We Are

At Charlottesville, VA-based South Central Counseling Group (SCCG), our work is grounded in systems, attachment, experiential, and trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on emotions and the relationships in which we experience ourselves.

SCCG clinicians use an integrated approach using internal family Systems (IFS), cognitive behavioral (CBT),  mindfulness, emotion focused therapy (EFT) and experiential modalities, and are influenced by the contemporary work of Terry Real, LICSW, and Esther Perel, MFT.

We can understand where our patterns came from without allowing our history to determine where we go next.
