INDIVIDUAL
THERAPY

There is usually more happening beneath the surface.

You may understand a lot about yourself and still find yourself caught in patterns that are difficult to change. We all carry stories and emotions that inform how we walk through the world. Therapy offers a place to slow down, become curious, and begin experiencing yourself and your relationships differently. You may be navigating anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, a major life transition, questions about intimacy and connection, or simply a feeling that something needs to shift. A therapist at SCCG can help you clarify your needs and goals early on,  and work to make desired and meaningful changes.

COUPLES
THERAPY

What is the “longing beneath the wronging”?
Our work with couples helps to identify the needs that can get missed in the day to day busy lives of a couple. Couples therapy helps clients to see their challenges through the lens of the current life stage in order to bring clarity and context to presenting issues. Therapists will slow down reactivity in each partner and focus on the stories and emotions in order to understand and communicate more intentionally. Our training is grounded in evidence-based modalities. We can understand where our patterns came from without allowing our history to determine where we go next.

FAMILY THERAPY AND PARENT SUPPORT SERVICES

Connection and accountability
can exist together.

Family therapy can help parents understand what is being communicated through behavior and improve boundaries, set clear expectations, provide structure, and secure connection. Parent Support is a home and office-based service with caregiver(s) building practical strategies that support emotional regulation, safety, structure, and better communication in parenting relationship with children and teens. Parenting support can help with repair after conflict or separation, autism and neurodiversity-informed parenting, family transitions, and developing age-appropriate independence.
